Can purge history 1 day remove files of current execution?

I have a client with purge settings as: Purge history=1 day AND purge immediately=true. If a long running execution crosses midnight, will the atom purge attempt to clear the data files related to the current execution that were technically created on the previous day?

We have seen some exceptions related to inaccessible data stores and wondered if this could be the cause, but could just be coincidental.

However if the purge would delete these files, what would the recommended purge settings be, purge immediately=true and purge history=0 (or something greater than 1)?
