No error from Program Command Stored Procedure?

After transferring a Salesforce object into a SQL table, we call a Program Command Stored Procedure. If the procedure encounters an error, we get no feedback into the Boomi Process -- it says it completed successfully. For example we dropped a table that the stored procedure inserts -- this generates a big SQL error when executing the stored procedure in a SQL tool. However Boomi reports no error. Is this expected?

Below is our Process with the Program Command Stored Procedure at the end.

If we put a Try/Catch before the Program Command Stored Procedure, the stored procedure never executes at all and there is no error or exception -- this is also very strange.
