Issue Resolving/Importing WSDL from SOAP Connector - Connection timed out: connect

Hi,

I am trying to resolve a WSDL through the SOAP Connector in Boomi that has been made available for me from a third party. It is said to have been setup a VPN between the Servers where our Boomi Atom is hosted and the third party from where we should be able to access and later send/retrieve data through this web service.

When I am trying to import the wsdl using the Atom -> selected connector which only has the defined WSDL endpoint: "http://XXX.XX.XX.XX:8080/webservices/endpoints/ServiceWSDLExample.wsdl" I am receiving the following error message:

"Unable to browse connector: Unable to read WSDL from URL: http://XXX.XX.XX.XX:8080/webservices/endpoints/ServiceWSDLExample.wsdl: com.boomi.webservices.AuthWSDLLocatorImpl$WsdlLocatorException: Error locating component for WSDL; Caused by: Error locating component for WSDL; Caused by: Connection timed out: connect"

I am trying to investigate if there is something missing on the client side or on the third party's side, or if there is something in Boomi that is causing this. I have been seing that Boomi has issues resolving some WSDLs that are using imports and also specific ports, but I cannot say if that is the case here.

Does anyone have a good approach to troubleshoot similar issues, currently the IT department is looking into if the wsdl is accesiable from the server, this was the first thing I requested them to check and it appears that it is but I have asked them to re-check.
