We want to pass one shape parameter value to another Map shape.
Please do help us to get the same
You have not defined MonthName variable.
Just set the parameter property in a process property and try to get in in another map with built in function under properties section.
Elaborate with a sample data structure so that we can help you with exact result.
Yes, you are able to use properties to store the value in first map, get that property in second map and use it where ever you want.
If you are looking at document level then you can use Dynamic Document Property other you can use either Dynamic Process Property or Process Property.
If you require any additional help then give us more details about your scenario.
THis is a very open ended question. please provide as much information as possible in order for the community to give you helpful response. Its always OK to "over communicate"
[Map1] We are getting the MonthName here from this map, when we check the process, MonthName shows correctly.
[Map2] When we pass the this value to another map, the value is not poulating, instead MonthName is displayed in the final result [strResult]
When we test the process, we are getting the below error.
Hope this explains our issue beterr.
Srini is correct. The function and scripting inputs are only scoped to a given function. They are not variables that span multiple map shapes or even functions within a single map. That is what process properties or document properties are for.
Thank you all, the issues been resolved.
Thanks for your valuable inputs.
