How to Retrieve Attachments in Salesforce (Full Example)
Thanks Ramya. Really helpful. Do you any information on Images?
Hi Ramya, I tried doing this step but it only return 1 attachment file. The first file in the list are being saved but the others are not.... Can you help me out?
Above doc clearly depicts SFDC attachment retrieval and same can be written into DB using BLOB and CLOB.
This is additional detail if needed.
You can use same approach for images. I worked on images and I am able to retrieve images from SFDC and send those images to FTP.
Could you please describe more the process of sending images to FTP. I'm sending an image to an FTP, but I'm retrieving an error when trying to open it. Is there any size restriction for uploading images to an FTP?

Attachments are pretty straightforward and the references given above are spot on.
For images, can I assume you're referring to inline/embedded images contained within the rich text article fields? If so, those are different and not at all friendly to programmatic integration. We actually faced this issue when migrating articles from Salesforce to this new Jive community. They are not available directly through the normal API and are basically only accessible by emulating a browser client. I believe what prevented the use of the HTTP Client connector was the cookie-based authentication which the connector doesn't currently support. The only solution was to write custom script to pull those out (and then search/replace the URLs with the actual image).

I'd be very curious to hear how you end up solving this one. Please share!
