I have a XML profile Containing following fields:
now what i want to create multiple records like this
and so on.....
i am stuck what to do?
i am not sure i understand your question correctly, can you give me screenshots and discuss it in detail? from your info i guess you can create six Advertiser_id fields in the target profile and map then all from the source Advertiser_id.
Hi mark realy appreciate your help.
But what i am looking for i completely different I have a xml profile which have an advertiser_id and email in which i have to mapp records coming from the profile
so what i want is keeping the advertiser_id
i want to split a single record as
advertiser_id email1(1 record)
advertiser_id email2(2 nd record)
can you upload a screenshot of your source profile and a sample of what is the expected target profile?
Did you try splitting the XML file with Split element as Email ?
As I see it, you need to create 6 branches, mapping each email plus the ID field into a single structure and adding it to a cache. Then your 7th branch picks the documents up from the cache and you continue.
Can you please post snippets of your actual source and destination data (remove any sensitive values of course)? The exact structure and fields names are critical to know, which can get lost in conceptual explanations. For example are the email XML elements literally "email_1", "email_2", etc. or are they all just "email"? Can you assume there are always 6 or is it variable?
if the input xml contains "email" field loop then try splitting the XML file with Split element as Email .
if the input xml contains individual fields like "email1","email2"..then use message step to create multiple records.
