Help needed - Best Practice to get SAP Data RFC Read Table KNA1 ROWSKIPS = ROWSKIPS + ROWCOUNT

Question asked by ch.contzen061487 on Mar 9, 2017

Dear all,

as an absolute newbie to Boomi I'm asking myself how to get the data from SAP Table KNA1 (Customers) to Salesforce using RFC Read Table. Is there a way to loop through the SAP data by providing a variable for the RFC Read Table Parameter ROWSKIPS = ROWSKIPS + ROWCOUNT?

Currently, I'm dealing with around 300 000 Rows and don't now how to loop or create a sequence.

My idea was to use the message shape and have a variable for the row skips calculating ROWSKIPS = ROWSKIPS + ROWCOUNT

<RFC_READ_TABLE>
<FIELDS>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>MANDT</FIELDNAME>
</item>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>KUNNR</FIELDNAME>
</item>
</item>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>NAME1</FIELDNAME>
</item>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>NAME2</FIELDNAME>
</item>
<item>
<FIELDNAME>NAME3</FIELDNAME>
</item>
</FIELDS>
<DELIMITER>|</DELIMITER>
<QUERY_TABLE>KNA1</QUERY_TABLE>
<ROWCOUNT>10000</ROWCOUNT>
<ROWSKIPS>0</ROWSKIPS>
</RFC_READ_TABLE>

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Christian
