Is it possible to maintain a Database connection after The Program Command shape?

Hello,

I am building process that extracts data from a temporary table that is populated once a PL/SQL block is executed in the same session.

declare
rslt sys_refcursor;
begin
function.main(123,rslt);
end;

I've added the PL/SQL block into Program Command shape - which I am executing ahead of the Database connection that queries the database to retrieve the data from the temp table.

The problem is that the connection seems to get dropped after the Program Command, and when the Process reaches the Database connector shape - it creates a new connection/session - and as a result the query returns no results.

Is it possible to retain the session open, or embed the PL/SQL block into the Database connection shape somehow - so that both database calls are within the same session?
