Is there any Best practice document to connect to QAD/ qxtend (inbound to QAD)?
What will be the connector used, since there is no custom QAD connector.
Using WebService SOAP Client you can connect to QAD ERP system web service APIs.
Although the integration design would be specific to module what I can suggest to build a solution architecture from various corners and then move into the detailed module for implementation.
Iam new to Dell Boomi. Hoping you could help me.
If we use WebService SOAP Client, we will be consuming one Dell Boomi license for each Qxtend Inbound operation . For example Sales Order creation will need one connection licence, Customer Account Creation will need another connection licence, etc. Likewise if we need to build other inbound process, we would need many licences. Wondering if there is any by which we could use only one connector for all QAD qxtend inbound processes ?
I understood the pain point.
Wat you can do is route your web services based on the incoming request.
For your case, you can ask QAD service providers if they can provide a single web service URL which can route to different other objects.
If that's not possible then you may need to look for third-party web service routing vendor who can do this for you.
Why not go for additional license counts?
Check with your sales team they can help you out.
