How to download ContentDocument from Salesforce SOAP API

We're currently setting up an integration which needs to download files from Salesforce, specifically the ContentDocument object. While the Attachment object exposes its data through a normal field and is thus accessible via the Salesforce connector, this object requires using the retrieve() method instead of the standard query() method.

Since I couldn't find any way to do this with the Salesforce connector, I've been trying to set this up via the Web Services SOAP Client Connector. However, I can't seem to find any info on accessing the Salesforce SOAP API this way with Boomi.

My main questions:

1. Is there a way to get this data without setting up a separate connector?

2. If we have to use the SOAP connector, could anyone provide some info on how to set up the connection in Boomi?

I'm not sure where to point for the WSDL or how to set up security. Since the Salesforce connector does all this behind the scenes I was hoping you would have this knowledge handy.
