I want to capture all the activities of a process in a log file.
There are many areas to look into if you wish to capture everything. Some starting points
1. Local Atom: All execution history is stored with the Atomsphere folder. It will give a view on the steps executed in the process and is similar to process log that you view from UI. However, since it is not in single file you will have to follow the chain of documents to see each step. I mean one xml file pointing to other in the chain.
2. In case if you are looking for all the request-response it is the data folder within Atomsphere. You will need log aggregator and analyser like splunk or design your custom application to scan this big directory of files.
3.Apart from this some useful information about process and api calls are in container logs.
4. For debug logs please refer http://help.boomi.com/atomsphere/GUID-9B841FD5-E11F-4D9B-9E1B-4B0C40B30FBC.html. Note: It will impact perform of Atom.
If you are looking at generating custom messages to track all steps then notify can be used before and after each step with the Title as same. It will put all notify messages in single file and can be found in the log folder within Atomsphere's directory.
