JSON Document Splits into multiple documents after mapping

Hi Folks,

We have a weird issue while executing one of our processes. We are mapping the response coming from an RFC to a JSON profile. The RFC response has multiple items in one document, and we are mapping the Item (which occurs multiple times in the document) node to it's corresponding node in the target.

After executing the map, the target data, which is JSON, is being split into multiple documents, with each document having around 2 / 3 / 4 records. We do not have any logic in our map, but, somehow we see the document being split.

Below are the screenshots of our map, and the result.

This is the response coming from the RFC, wherein, all the payload is contained in one document.

The above screenshot is of the RFC response, wherein we see only one document generated with the entire payload.

The above screenshot is of the map that we created. The node Item is mapped to ArrayElemenet1 in the target.

This screenshot is after the mapping step, where the document is split into multiple documents.

We really don't understand this behavior of the mapping, and any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hari
