job: iFlow 203 - Ad-hoc is deleted from build but it is still showing at process reporting. How to remove it from process reporting? This is not there in any other tab apart from process reporting.
Ideally, the process reporting just logs information related to ran processes (documents and logs), and is beneficial to keep. Naturally, I believe that logs in process reporting are purged every 30 days. With regards to what you are asking in your question, you can go into Atom Management and click on the Atom that you are running your processes on and click on "Properties" under the "Settings and Configuration" tab.
In this section you will see a text field that is related to purging logs from process reporting. If you have any other doubts I would check out the guide to read more on purge history here. Hope this helps!
I think you are talking about un-deploying a process that has been deployed to an environment. You just need to un-attach the process from the environment it has been attached. It automatically un-deploys the process and you will no longer see the process in process reporting.
Just to be clear, even if you do un-deploy a process from from an environment, the process will still show up in process reporting. In other words, un-deploying a process does not not have any effect of the process reporting logs.
You will be able to run a process manually or scheduled only if the process is attached to the environment. The moment you detach the process from environment, it will no longer be available under environment's deployed processes. Which means this process can never be executed and the report log would not store any logs related to this process thereafter.
In process report under process filter the process will still be available because you may want to get the process log of the process when it was run. But it will show no new logs after detached from environment.
I am not sure whether we both are in sync.
I understand what you are getting at, but I think that you are misreading the original question. The OP wants to remove a existing log entry in process reporting. What you are describing would keep future logs (with regards to the process that you are removing) from being reported.
Perhaps I misread it or understood as un-deploying a process
If Subhash Kumar wants to just clear the Process Log from process report, he just needs to purge them as you have mentioned. But you cannot release a process from process filter because all processes that are created are stored in the atom repository.
