JSON as variable in a SQL sproc program command shape

I have a fairly simple process where I'm trying to take some transformed data and make it a variable for a Program Command Shape stored procedure call.

Basically, a csv is imported through a Disk Connector; rows are split up into 1000 row batches; the csv is mapped to a JSON format; and then a stored procedure is executed passing 4 variables - the last variable is the entire 'current data' in JSON.

Now, I'm passing a lot of JSON into this variable, and I'm not certain if there's something like a character limit preventing me from doing this. Tests result in that Program Command Shape throwing an invalid parameter error. And when I look at the logging, I can see the input parameter 4 being set, but with @quot's instead of " marks within the JSON formatting.

I'm curious if there's anyway to pass this volume of JSON into a stored procedure variable, and whether the formatting might be getting... warped in the process. I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.
