Sorting Objects in JSON Array on Date with Groovy

Very new to the world of Groovy and couldn't figure out how to fix this with the components inside Boomi.

So my usecase:

We are building an integration to book hours from program X to program X.

The final data consists of a JSON object that has Issues[] that contains Worklogs[].

The worklogs in the Issue[] needs to be sorted / extracted to a new document and bundled with the rest

of the same Dates.

It doesn't matter that the Issues are bundled as long as the worklogs are of the same date!

I tried splitting on the Date and then Route it but I can't do this with a Route so I think a custom groovy script is needed.

Can some1 point me in the right direction or give me a detailed example (if possible with my JSON object).

Thank you all for your help in Advance.

With kind regards,
