I try to test a large data set which is 800k size. When I upload this data into a message shape, the Atomsphere doesn't respond when I click OK button, need improvement in GUI to handle this kind of request.
I am not sure why you are trying to load large size of file in Test mode. This is expected behavior in Boomi that in TEST mode it does not support more than 100 documents or 10MB of size. For unit testing you can test with smaller junk of data. Later deploy and execute the process for your desired file size.
I just want to test a 800k data,it's far away from 10M. A bug is a bug.
My understanding of your 800k was 800 thousand bytes. Anyway even 800kb is not less to load to message shape. Even I have faced this issue for 500kb. However, if I am not wrong the main intention of this is to restrict temp memory usage when you want to do a unit testing.
Can you confirm that this message shape is the only data being used in the process? The 10MB limit is a hard limit on the entire process and if hypothetically you are passing that data all throughout multiple shapes, it will eventually reach 10MB and error.
The bug is in Atomsphere. User can not put a little big data into Message Shape. I have to create a process use disk connector to read it.
That is right. Message shape is mainly used to test small amount of data. The best way to read more data is either from an SFTP or Disk.
I found mozilla has no issue with this.
Uploading big chunks of data in a message shape can be slow. My Macs can handle bigger data chucks than the Windows laptop of my colleague. It could also be related to the available CPU power. Anyway, what you could try as a workaround is copying the data into a DPP and use a message shape and the DPP to generate the document. That also worked on the Windows laptop.
