I have checked the list of Boomi's prebuilt connectors and SAP Business One is not listed. Has anyone connected Boomi to SAP B1? Can anyone tell me if the SAP connector works or if there is a better route to go?
Appreciate your help.
Generally, we pull data from SAP B1 and then push it to DB without boomi and grab data from DB using boomi for further processing.
Consider creating an idea of SAP B1 connector in ideas section.
What method do you use to 'pull data from SAP B1'? and conversely, push data into SAP B1?
and by 'DB' do you mean a 'Database' that you've configured for this use?
I note that there is a request for an SAP Business ByDesign connector request , but I'm not seeing any request for a SAP Business One connector as of today.
1: Create Connector for SAP Business ByDesign as exists currently for SAP Cloud for Customer
2: Ideas for Boomi
I am curious about this as well. Can Boomi use an enterprise SAP connector to do integration with SAP B1 the same as ECC/R3 or will it need to call web services or can it have flat file exports to pick up, etc.
Good question. I actually don't know if you can use the SAP Enterprise connector for B1. I recommend logging a support case.
Did you receive any update on SAP B1 connector from boomi support or any work around to connect.
Adam Arrowsmith , do you know any pointers around it.
Hi Girish R,
As Sjaak pointed out, Business One is not supported by the current SAP connector (it leverages the sapjco library for onprem connectivity). I'll ask internally to see if there's any other info to share.
Please keep this thread updated with info once you get.
I've not received a definitive answer but some internet research yielded https://archive.sap.com/kmuuid2/82b5cac2-0401-0010-f2a2-95f55425d09b/Data%20Level%20Integration%20with%20SAP%20Business%… . This lists two options for connecting, the latter mentioning the use of JCO jars. I'm not sure if those would be the same (or compatible) JCO jars that the current SAP Connector uses. Might be worth a quick try. Otherwise, I suspect the answer may be "no" unfortunately.
