We have installed a local atom in a Linux environment where Java was already available. We were trying to execute a get call which with SSL but are getting a PKIX error. The root certificate is a Private SSL certificate in .pem format which we uploaded manually in the temp and called curl pointing to the .pem. The curl connection works perfectly with SSL. We then converted the .pem to .cer and stored in cacerts under java folder (Java path showing in Boomi is /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_144/jre). We tried executing curl from the Boomi folder in the Linux but does not work.
It would be really helpful if we could get some advise on what went wrong. Thanks in advance.
I am also pasting the error that we get.
[EXCEPTION] ODATA Execution Error Code: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
