Route and Prioritization

Here's a scenario and question related to the Route shape:

Let's say you're importing a flat file through a connector, splitting up the contents row-by-row and Routing down execution paths based on the value of a Profile Element. Each execution path performs a different mapping and output action taken. Is there a way to prioritize one of these Routes over another, or setup a kind of dependency so that one Route processes once another route has completed its action?

For example: one Route involves the creation of a classroom through an API call, and other Routes involve assigning students and teachers to the created classroom through other API calls. You can't assign students and teachers to a classroom that doesn't yet exist. So, how can you prioritize that Route action over the other Routes in the same process?
