I have created a CSV file(just concat three strings) with the help of netsuite connector. It successfully created but when I download this file from netsuite its content is not readable.
Is there any other thing need to set?
The content from Netsuite may be BASE64 encoded, in that case you would need to BASE64 decode it using a Data Process shape:
Thanks Jeroen Mulder for the suggestion. I'm downloading the file directly from file cabinet and its content not in readable format.
Should I need to set encoding(_autoDetect,_utf8 etc.) field or TextFileEncoding(_utf8,_macRoman etc) in map?
It depends on what the data looks like after BASE64 decoding. If it is readable, but some characters are missing or displayed in a strange way, using UTF-8 may help.
not sure if you need this or not, just figured it out that you will need to specify File Type in NetSuite when you create a net new file. You ALSO need to add the file extension in your File Name. (i.e. file name = abc will give you a random file type in NetSuite whereas file name = abc.pdf will give you the correct file extension)
hope this helps.
One approach is to use a message shape to get just the file contents and then as already mentioned a data process shape. After the BASE64 Decode data process step the document passed on to the next shape will be the CSV file contents.
