Currently, there is no option to set the escape characters when reading from records from database

The below examples illustrates the incorrect reading of the database columns

DB rows:

Data in Boomi after the table read

DBSTART|ee905ef9-50e5-4caa-a93d-17a7afa5517a|2|@|BEGIN|2|@|OUT_START|3|@|dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==|^|1|^|abc|#|12|#|24.txt|#|dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==|^|1|^|abc#12.txt|#|dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==|^|1|^|abc#12#24.txt|#||#|OUT_END|3|@|END|2|@|DBEND|ee905ef9-50e5-4caa-a93d-17a7afa5517a|2|@|

After db to flatfile transformation, instead of three records, five records are created  as below

dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==,1,abc
12,,
24.txt,,
dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==,1,abc#12.txt
dABoAGkAcwAgAGkAcwAgAGEAIAB0AGUAcwB0AA==,1,abc#12#24.txt

There can be scenario's where |#| can be part of the data, in which case, Boomi will not interpret the columns correctly, Hence the necessity of Escape Character.
